Part of History!

We started making observations of the solar eclipse right after lunch.  Our observations continued throughout the afternoon until it was time for totality.  Gardner students and staff gathered on the soccer fields to watch the eclipse.  It was pretty amazing to share the excitement with the students!

Solar Eclipse

On Friday, we made our very own solar eclipse in class.  The students were amazed at how neat these turned out!

Welcome to Team Ziegler and Team Landeck!

Welcome to Team Ziegler and Team Landeck!
We are a T.E.A.M where Together Everyone Accomplishes More!

We are so excited and honored to be your child's fourth grade teacher. We are looking forward to an awesome school year with everyone!

This summer, Mrs. Ziegler and her husband welcomed their first child into the world.  They are proud parents of a bouncing baby boy named Clayton.  Mrs. Ivers has arranged for Mrs. Landeck to teach the class during the first quarter while Mrs. Ziegler is at home on maternity leave.  Our goal is to keep the classroom running as Mrs. Ziegler would, following the same rules and expectations.  We know the students will have a great time learning with both of us!

During the first days of school, our class will be discussing our daily procedure, discipline, and cooperation.  While Mrs. Ziegler is out, if you have a concern or question, we encourage you to please feel free to send a note, jot a message in your child’s agenda, call the school, or e-mail Mrs. Landeck at elandeck@wcusd5.net  She will get in contact with you as quickly as possible.

Welcome!

Dear Parents,

I am happy to have the opportunity to teach your child fourth grade this year.  My most important goal is to provide a positive educational experience for him/her.  I set high academic expectations and encourage each student to achieve their fullest potential.  I truly want your child to have a caring learning atmosphere that will encourage respect, responsibility, and success for a lifetime.

This summer, my husband and I welcomed our first child into the world.  We are the proud parents of a bouncing baby boy named Clayton.  Mrs. Ivers has arranged for a substitute that will take my place during the first quarter while I'm home on maternity leave.  The substitute for our classroom will be Mrs. Landeck.  I am confident that she will do a great job!  I know her goal, along with mine, is to keep the classroom running as I would, following the same rules and expectations.  I just know the kids will love her and have great time learning with her.

During the first days of school, our class will be discussing our daily procedure, discipline, and cooperation.  While I am out if you have a concern or question, I encourage you to please feel free to send a note, jot a message in your child’s agenda, call the school, or e-mail Mrs. Landeck at elandeck@wcusd5.net  She will get in contact with you as quickly as possible.  Also, familiarize yourself with these three links:

We look forward to working with you and your child.  Let’s make it a great year together!
