We have made a small change to our daily schedule.
Science and Social Studies are switching spots.
We will now have science before lunch and social studies in the afternoon.
In addition, we plan to visit the school library on Mondays.

Student Council
We have a tough competition this year.
Eight great students want to represent our class.
We have speeches tomorrow!
Then we'll count the votes and find out who will be our representatives.
Good luck to everyone!

Remember, this election is not a popularity contest, and students should only vote for someone who is ready to work hard, attend meetings, participate in all activities decided by student council, and report back to the class what's happening.

Addition in Math
In math today, we reviewed the U.S. Traditional Addition method.
We also learned about partial sums addition and column addition.
Some students prefer these methods. They are allowed to use them if it helps them to get the correct answers.
To learn more and/or review these other addition methods, go to our Everyday Math website.

Login information is in the front of the agenda.
Click on the Student Reference Book (This is the online version of our textbook).
Go to pages 90-91. There they will read the page aloud to you and if you click on the little triangle, they will show a short video explaining more about what we discussed.
